I just got divorced after being married for 12 years. What do I do with my diamond engagement ring????

I thought of tossing it into the sea, but that seems like a waste of money. I sure don't want to wear the ring anymore, but it would feel weird to completely get rid of it, since it was a part of my life for so long. Anyone have any ideas?
