I know that Carat Weight and Cut are the most important parameters in determining a diamond's price. Does clarity also affect diamond prices? I mean, most white diamonds are rather clear, aren't they?

In order to understand exactly how clarity affects the value of a diamond, you need to understand the diamond grading system that is accepted. The most commonly used diamond grading system is the GSA system.
They grade clarity as follows:
F = Flawless: the diamond has no internal or external flaws.
IF = Internally Flawless:the diamond has no internal flaws, but has some surface flaws.
VVS1-VVS2 = Very Very Slightly Included (1 or 2). The diamond has extremely small inclusions that are very difficult to detect under 10 times magnification by trained gemologists. VS1-VS2 = Very Slightly Included (1 or 2). the diamond has extremely small inclusions that are quite difficult to see under 10 times magnification.
SI1-SI2 = Slightly Included (1 or 2). the diamond has very small inclusions that are easier to detect under 10x magnification, although not easy to detect.
I 1-2-3 = Included (1,2,or 3). the diamond has inclusions that are visible to the naked eye.
For grades F through SI, you can't actually see any inclusions with your naked eye, and you will have difficulty seeing inclusions even under a microscope, but the grading does impact the diamonds value. To be any more specific about the value impact of diamond clarity grading, I'd also need to know the weight, cut and color of your diamond. All four of these factors affect the value of the diamond.

The level of clarity is defined by the amount of imperfections or stains in a diamond. Clarity has a significant effect on a diamond's price. The higher a diamond's clarity grade is the more expensive that particular diamond will be. Of course, other factors such as carat weight, color and cut, also influence the diamond's price.
