What do you wear asymmetrical fashion necklaces with?

I've seen a lot of asymmetrical necklaces out there, with three or four decorative pieces that are supposed to sit near the right or left collar bone, rather than hand in the center of the chest as traditional necklaces or pendants. I think they are really cool, but I can't figure out what I'd wear one with. Any ideas?

You should wear assymetrical fashion necklaces with lower cut, v neck or square necklines. If you wore it with a higher neck t-shirt. etc. then the beauty of the necklace would lost or covered up by the high neck shirt. If you feel uncomfortable wearing someting that is lower cut, it would also work with a moderately placed neckline and a cool blazer. As long as the necklace isn't on top of material and is resting on your skin, you should be fine

It's best to wear asymmetrical necklaces with a plain or understated shirt. Some of them feature big ornamentation, but most, due to their asymmetry, are in and of themselves eye catchers. You don't want your outfit to look too busy, and you'll probably want people's eyes to go straight to the necklace. I'd pair one of these cool accessories with a plain shirt- solid colored , no fancy neckline, although sometimes a low-cut top can do the trick. I also think they look best with jeans, but I've seen them worn with dressed before. If you want to pear an asymmetrical necklace with a dress, go for a long, simply flowing dress- something that seems unified. This way, you will be balancing the unity of the dress with a splash of variety with your necklace. Remember, accessories are almost always about balance. If you put on a pair of earrings and a bracelet and take a look in the mirror and it seems like something is off, or it looks like there is too much "noise" in your get-up, then take something off, or change it up a bit.
