Is there such a thing as a charm bracelet for men? Would that be a good gift for my boyfriend?

I think your idea of getting you and your boyfriend charm bracelets is a wonderful idea. There are definitely charm bracelets for men. That's one of the beauties of the charm bracelet. They are extremely versatile. The most manly charm bracelets that I have come across are bracelets that hang the charms from a leather braided bracelet, a sterling silver chain, a yellow gold link chain, or a beaded bracelet. There are also italian charm bracelets, which are well known as being completely unisex.

If you go for a more conventional charm bracelet, it might be a nice idea to get the same base link bracelet, or leather bracelet for the two of you and then to buy charms separately. This will make it easier for you to personalize the gift. I should add, though, that aside from the italian charm bracelets, most of the men's charm bracelets I saw featured no more than three or four charms total. Therefore, I recommend keeping the number of charms on his bracelet to a minimum.

If you're not sure of what charms to hang, my first suggestion is an engraveable tag that you can dedicate to him- or you can write a lyric from the song that you two like, or somehow make an allusion to your special connection. If you want something more novelty, I can give you a few suggestions according to some of the the charms I came across online; there were a few that really struck my fancy. The first was a sports team charm. There was a site that I found selling charms for all different football (soccer) teams and they had some really nice sterling silver charms that they hung from leather bracelets. I also saw old car charms, which were pretty cool. There were also charms that I came across of different places in the world, different cities in the US, and different subway systems.

I'm sure you'll find something that your boyfriend will love- that will really, aaachem, charm him :)
