What kind of jewelry can I get my Francophile girlfriend?

My girlfriend is a France/French culture/ City of Paris fanatic. And I mean fanatic. I want to get her something nice for her birthday/our two year anniversary (which both occur during the same week.) Any ideas? I know I want to get her jewelry. And I don't mind spending a bit of money on it. I'm very serious about this special girl. What says France best? Is there some sort of jewelry that's renowned for its Frenchness?

Well, you can choose something by looking for a french designer such as cartier. There is nothing more french that getting something by the most famous french jewelry designer in existence. Another popular clothing and jewelry designer is Chanel.

You mean what says France best other than a surprise ticket to France? And other than proposing to her on top of the Eiffel Tower? Well, actually there's tons of jewelry with French symbols. A girl in my literature class is also obsessed with everything French and she has a very pretty pair of white gold earrings in the shape of the Eiffel Tower. I'm sure you can find little Eiffel Tower earrings with diamond studs. Patriotic jewelry is not that hard to find. My cousin has a diamond studded American Eagle pin. I'm sure if you look at French jewelry websites you'll find something, though shipment might be a bit steep. But I bet you can get stuff like that on eBay too. What about the French embassy? Maybe ask them where you can get expensive French memorabilia. I think that girl in my class must have bought the earrings in the States or online, 'cuz she's never been to France. Unless somebody bought them for her. Hmmm... Well, I'm sure you can find them online. Other cute shapes for your French diamond jewelry that say France are of course a croissant, the Arc de Triumph, the French map... I think earrings are the best way to go in this case. And personally I would go with a pair of diamond studded croissant shaped earrings.
