I'm really into body jewelry.The more jewelry the more fun and colorful, I think. But there must be some sort of record. Do you know what it is? I mean how many places in your body can you actually adorn with jewelry? There must be some sort of limit...

That is all so disgusting! I'm sorry to rant...but I don't understand this question, anyway. How is it possible that anyone would want hundreds of facial piercings?!?!?! I mean, earrings are pretty, a nose ring can be sort of reasonable, a belly button ring is a bit gross but sometimes sexy and an inevitable part of beach going...but...all those other piercings. Call me old fashioned, but I think it is definitely unhealthy and beyond that just totally and completely grotesque. Stick with an extra ear piercing if you are consumed with the idea of more holes. Or get some therapy.

There is even a weirder more disturbing record where body jewelry is concerned and that has to do with how many piercings one person gets in one sitting. In 2003 a Canadian guy named Brent Moffat got seven hundred piercings including 18g surgical needles in a single seven hour long session. Later that year he got nine hundred body piercings in just four and a half hours. In 2006 he was out pierced in his category by a guy named Kam Ma who got 1015 metal ring insertions in under eight hours. In May of 2008, an even more disturbing record was set: The record for most body piercings with surgical needles: A man named Robert Jesus Rubio was crowned with the title after he had nine hundred 18-gauge 0.2 Inch surgical needles inserted in to him. Yikes!

In terms of records, the Guinness word record in number of body piercing is held by a Scottish woman named Elaine Davidson, and her official title is "most pierced woman." She got this title in 2000, when she had 462 permanent body piercings, 192 of them being around her face.six years later she had 4,225 piercings and in 2009 it was reported in the Daily Telegraph that she had as many as 6,005 body piercings. The male record holder for most body jewelry since 2009 is Luis Antonio Aguero with 230 piercings, 175 of which were around his face.
