There a variety of types of handmade jewelry including all the ones already previously listed. The most popular types are earrings, bracelets, and rings. If you are interested in learning to make your own, there are many classes that are offered through bead & jewelry stores. They are often quite cheap and you only need a class or two to learn how to make gorgeous jewelry for very little money.

People make all different kinds of hand jewelry... ranging from every different kind of jewelry you can think of (like the people said above... necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets... to more so called accessories - like wristbands, waistbands, headbands, scarves... etc.). i don't think handmade jewelry is at all limited to a certain genre of jewelry or to a specific metal. handmade jewelry can be made out of practically anything - gold, silver, copper, pearl, zinc, precious metals, rubies... even fabrics, plastic, glass, ribbon, wire... )

wow... all kinds. first off, you should know that handmade jewelry is jewelry that's been assembled and formed by hand rather than through any kind of machines... the type of jewelry spans the spectrum: earrings, bracelets, necklaces, rings, anklets, headbands... etc. the ftc states that in order for a given piece of jewelry to be considered handmade, the work must be made solely by hand... so basically, jewelry may be made using drills and/or other kinds of machinery, but it must be guided by the human hand. so not included in this would be punch presses, cnc machinery and other processes that would not qualify as handmade. but to go back to your question, anything made out of anything that would be considered jewelry.
as you can imagine, there are many people who prefer to have work that is hand-crafted by a real craftsman, so i assume the trade of hand made jewelry and other crafts will likely remain in-tact for that reason.you have to be careful, though, that this kind of jewelry... one that is marked or sold as hand made, often is not exactly handmade.

i'm thinking handmade jewelry spans the spectrum - bracelets, necklaces, earrings... not really sure, to be honest, what you CAN'T make handmade... i've even seen headbands and hats. so i'm assuming it's not that hard to string a few beads or what not onto a string and make just about anything you want!
