Are jewelry stands good for earrings or necklaces?

Yes they do make separate ones for earrings and necklaces, although I store my earrings on a necklace stand and its fine. Also, if you have jewelry with gemstones in it, you should get some velvet material and wrap them in it. This is to prevent the gemstones from rubbing up against one another. Hope this helps.

Actually they make stands for both earrings and necklaces. Earring stands usually have tiny little holes so the earrings can hang and necklace stands usually arms or hooks for the necklaces to hang on. But if you have earrings or necklaces that have precious stones in them like diamonds or even pearls, I would consider an alternate place to store these pieces.
