do people still buy jewelry sets?

not sure. i personally have not seen people wear jewelry sets. seems kind of old fashioned to me. but hey, sometimes fashion trends go back in style and this could very well be one of them! i guess if it's for a wedding then definitely yes. obviously the bride will want to wear a jewelry set - some kind of diamond set, including earrings and a bracelet (or possibly earrings and a necklace... that sort of thing) and even for the bridesmaids... matching jewelry sets - earrings and a necklace for example. and probably something that the bride chooses for them. i can definitely see that being trendy... since weddings are known to be events where the jewelry tends to match across bridesmaids.

i would think that they are, since there are many different types of occasions that jewelry sets would be fashionable... like at weddings, bar mitzvahs, random corporate events... people like to match their jewelry to their clothes in general, so a jewelry set would be a good way to do so. so bottom line, i'm thinking yes. (i've never actually checked it out in terms of stats or anything like that, just a hunch...)

i'm thinking that for the same reason the person said above (the thing about weddings), that yes... they are definitely still popular. weddings are definitely a place for matching jewelry - whether earrings to the bracelet, necklace to the earrings, whatever, you name it. just as bridesmaids wear matching dresses, they might also be wearing matching jewelry - and jewelry that matches other pieces of jewelry, hence the jewelry set. and brides definitely still wear jewelry sets - a tierra who diamond matches the diamonds in her earrings or pendant in her necklace, or possible even to the bracelet she wears on her wedding day. there really is no exact science to what kind of jewelry sets are wore on weddings, but yes i would definitely say that they are still popular... which is probably not surprising to hear, if you've been to a wedding as of recently!
