yeah i agree. you can mix and match real diamonds with gemstone and it's true that it's gaining popularity. if indeed you own that much jewelry, i don't see any reason not to mix genres. if anything, it'll probably start a new trend and maybe others will copy you eventually. there's nothing wrong with starting a new fashion trend.

Of course. You can mix and match costume jewelry with fine jewelry if that's how you feel comfortable. I know that there are trends going around especially in Hollywood where celebs are wearing an assortment of jewelry - fine and fashion. Mix and match.

Most definitely! You should wear what you love and if that is wearing your genuine diamond stud earrings with your gemstone costume jewelry necklace then you should just go for it. Apparently a huge trend right now is to wear tons of jewelry - lots of bracelets, rings, necklaces...whatever you want. But who has dozens of diamond bracelets and pearl necklaces? You go ahead and wear your favorite piece of costume jewelry with your fine jewelry!
