Are charm bracelets still in style?

I really love the look and idea of a charm bracelet- but is it dated?

Not only are charm bracelets trendy, but they are also perfect for showing your support for any specific cause. I know that Lance Armstrong rubber bracelets have been big, but in my opinion they are ugly and boring. Charms are hipper cooler and cuter. Buy a charm for your bracelet that not only supports your cause, but shows others that you support it too---- and that most importantly looks super cute! :) FYI- Posh Spice and Mr. Beckham have not too long ago showed their philanthropic colors by promoting a beautifully designed UK cancer research charm bracelet. So there you go. It's settled. Charm bracelets are hip.

Charm bracelets are and will always be in style. They are the perfect gift for any friend or family member- they are classic, stylish and serve as beautiful reminders of special occasions or milestone events. It's still very popular for a bride to have her bridesmaids don the same charm bracelet or to add a special charm to an item of their jewelry as a memento of the day. Celebrities are also still charming it up, with big names like Madonna even sporting Kaballah charms every day. So what are you waiting for? Go out and buy yourself a fabulous new bracelet- and don't forget to pick out a special charm to start off your collection.

Charm bracelets can be quite versatile since there are wide assortments of charms that can be added to the chain. Charms come in an endless variety of themes, shapes, sizes, colors and designs, and can be set with virtually any precious gemstone. Thus, they can be put together in a hip, chic colorful 'younger' style or in a more demure, classical 'dated' fashion. Consequently, charm bracelets are as relevant as you, the wearer, make them.

I don't think that charm bracelets are dated. On the contrary, I do think that charm bracelets are slightly childish. I personally believe that charm bracelets are an appropriate gift and accessory for a teenager, but that this bracelet would look a little out of place when worn by an older woman. Charm bracelets can be fun and colorful, but I personally believe that they are meant for a younger crowd, and that if a grown woman wants to wear charms she should maybe consider wearing an elegant diamond encrusted horse shoe pendant instead.
