Is it funny to have only two charms on a charm bracelet? Does that look weird?

I just got my second charm as a gift from a friend and I want to put it on my charm bracelet, but I don't know where I should hang it. I think it looks weird when I put only two of the charms on my bracelet. I guess the only place it doesn't look weird is when I hang them from the same hook. Do you have any suggesstions?

its weird to have two charms on a charm bracelet. You either want to have 4 or more for it to look like a charm bracelet, or you just want to have 1, like the Tiffany style heart charm bracelets that are so popular right now. if you want to wear the charm, you could always wear it as a pendant on a necklace or you could put it on an anklet. I used to have a charm bracelet, but I found that it was really difficult to do my job with it. I work at a computer mostly and I found the charms really irritating when I had to type. They prevented me from being able to rest my hand/arm on the keyboard and made lots of clattering noises when I was typing. It lasted for about 20 minutes on my wrist before I took it off. I hope you have a different type of job than I do, because you will probably get annoyed with it too. Just my opinon because it sucks to try and collect charms for a charm bracelets that you wear for 20 minutes and then barely ever wear.

I think its fine to wear two charms on a charm bracelet. Who made charm bracelet rules? I think that with charm bracelets, especially, anything goes since they are all about personalizing and doing what works for you. You put however many charms you want on that bracelet and don't worry about whether it is "balanced" or "unbalanced". The charms are meant not only to look great but also to be sentimental. I think you should be able to wear the charms if you want to.

I can understand your concern, but charm bracelets are a)meant to be asymmetrical and b)meant to really show off your charms. If you hook both of your charms from the same hook, then it'll be hard to see them both. You want to make sure that everyone sees these cute little charms, no? Also, I would be worried that hanging two charms from one hook might either damage the charms or the bracelet. You don't want the charms clanking against one another all day long as you busy yourself with your day. This might cause scratches, dents, or -depending on the weight of the charms and the strength of the bracelet chain itself- may even damage the bracelet chain by weighing it down. If I were you, I'd spread the two charms out and keep them visible. It isn't tacky, I'm telling you. No one notices but you. And then, when you show off the bracelet with only 2 charms, you can start dropping hints to friends that you need a third charm to feel balanced. A great way to get your hands on a new charm!

I would say that you can wear the two charms on either side of the clasp. Then it might look like three charms and wouldn't tilt the balance of the bracelet. If you don't want to do that, then I agree with the other response that you should either go out and get a third charm, or simply change them up each day.

I have to say, I think you're right about two charms looking weird. I say, just switch them up until you get a third. Change up the charms for different occasions, or whenever you decide that you are getting bored with one of the charms. Then you won't have any problems. Two charms is just awkward.
