I heard that Blue Nile filed suit against Odimo Inc. but I didn't find out what the charges were, when this all happened and what the outcome was. Does anyone have information on this?

According to US court documents, this diamond dispute happened a few years ago. The Seattle Based company Blue Nile filed suit against Florida-based Odimo in September of 2005. Blue Nile alleged that Odimo used BlueNile copyrighted material on the their website without permission, charging them with copyright infringement. The suit claimed that Odimo directly copied photographs, wording and special images that were protected under copyright laws. Blue Nile asked Odimo to discontinue its use of the images and materials, to return them to Blue Nile, and to pay an unspecified amount of money in damages. It isn't clear how the lawsuit was settled, or whether it was even settled at all. I couldn't find any of this information.
