I heard that there was once a massive jewelry lawsuit involving Kelly Bensimon, star of reality TV Show "The Real Housewives of Manhattan"?

According to the press, Kelly Bensimon, a star of "The Real Housewives of NYC", has found herself in lots of trouble. Not only was the 40 year old ex-model arrested in March 2009 for physically abusing her young boyfriend, but she is now going to be back in court in a battle over jewelry. Kelly Bensimon unabashedly promoted an owl necklace on the Bravo television series in an effort to promote her new line of jewelry. The owl pendant is actually on sale and available for $325. Celeste Greenberg, who worked with Bensimon at Elle when Bensimon was editor and chief of the magazine, is now claiming that Kelly stole the owl design from her. According to the New York Post Report, Greenberg found a vintage own pendant and lent it to Bensimon to wear at photo shoots and media appearances. Greenberg apparently had a verbal agreement with Bensimon that the two of them would design and manufacture a pendant of their own, based on the vintage piece, and split the profits. In the lawsuit Greenberg says that Bensimon intentionally went on to design the owl on her own and, moreover, cut Greenberg out of any profits. Kelly Bensimon has pleaded "Not guilty" and accuses Greenberg of suing her simply because she needs the money. Bensimon said that the two had never agreed formally on any business deal and that there is therefore no ground for her case.
