I saw pictures of these amazing pieces of jewelry that had legs, arms, eyes, chests, hands and more of barbie and ken dolls. Who is this designer? where can I find these pieces?

You are talking about brooklyn based designer Margaux Lange. She makes some really amazing pieces out of old barbie dolls and attaches them to everything: brooches, rings, necklaces, earrings and more. Sometimes she only uses their signature shoes to create a fascinating pattern. She even has some necklaces where she's incorporated barbie with ken, or doubled legs and arms to make some interesting geometric shape. Her jewelry may seem like something you could snag for under 50 bucks, but the stuff is serious designer material that has been on the radar of serious jewelry industry people. In fact, her stuff has been featured in magazines, galleries, and books about jewelry making. If you're interested in buying her stuff, there is a small selection on etsy.com. There are also a number of boutiques around the country- and a couple in the uk- that stock her stuff, but she's pretty open to people contacting her and has even put her personal e-mail address on both her commercial website as well as her blog. I'd say, if there is a piece that you see in her portfolio that you want to buy, contact her and ask her about it.
