Are there dog barrettes?

I think dog barrettes or head-wear could be a fashion trend, although may draw some annoying and superfluous attention from others. I have seen people dress up their dogs, and although I might not do it, I could see it being a trend.

I live in New York City and the pet barette us IN! Not only are barettes in, but pet jewelry such as pet bracelets, pet necklaces and even diamond accessories are abounding.

Yes there might be dog barrettes, but do you really think it looks good to dress up a dog? I have never been a fan of that. I think barrettes and dress up clothes should be left for people. The dogs won't appreciate it so it's probably a waste of money!

Yes yes and yes. There are a number of websites and stores where you can find beautiful barrettes for your beautiful dog. Simply search for pet jewelry online, or pet barrettes, and I'm sure you'll find a long list of internet retailers who sell all different kinds of pet accessories including pet collars and pet hair clips. Some of my favorite pet barrette pieces are encrusted with Swarovski Crystals and designed by Dorothy Bauer. She makes a number of really attractive, wonderful pieces that are cute, unique and good looking. If your dog is especially active or prone to rubbing its skin/fur against other objects, I would advise against investing in any expensive pet barrettes, since you'll probably find that they will get lost or damaged easily. However, if you have a small, quiet, calm dog, then you might want to look into real couture dog barrettes and pet accessories.
