I used to wear a diamond studded necklace when I was a little girl (fake diamonds of course), and now that I'm all grown up and could actually afford a real diamond studded necklace, I just want to make sure that they are really back in fashion before go ahead and purchase one!

This trend of diamond-studded name pendants seems to come and go. At times you see the LA stars bringing back 80s and 90s trends. Its something that can look great, but only on the right person. I'd say if you're someone who is over-all put together, trendy and chic, you can definitely get away with a diamond name pendant. Especially if the style is nostalgic to you or if your name is especially meaningful to you. The most pure form of this style is with gold metal and diamond studs on the ends of the name. If you want to go for more bling, you could encrust the entire name with diamonds.

Those necklaces are hot! I especially like the one Sarah Jessica Parker's Sex and the City character, Carrie Bradshaw, wears on the show. These necklaces are most definitely in again. I've seen many women wearing necklaces spelling out their names, as well as name plate bracelets, pendants and rings. Diamond embedded name plate necklaces have an extra pizzazz to them. In my opinion, the gem encrusted necklaces are dazzling and eye catching and I can't wait to get one of my own!
