Is it okay to wear a diamond bracelet with a pearl necklace and pearl earrings?

I know it may be considered as over-kill, but I was thinking I would wear a diamond bracelet with pearl earrings and a pearl necklace on my wedding day. Do diamond and pearl jewelry items go well together? Should I tone it down?

Definitely. It is not only acceptable but also looks great to wear a diamond bracelet with pearl jewelry. Both pearls and diamonds are classy and elegant. As long as it doesn't look like you're overdoing it on the jewelry in general, you can definitely pull it off. Make sure that your attire doesn't take away from your beautiful adornments and you're all set!

Show some restraint girl! The saying "the more the merrier" isn't referring to jewelry... True class and sophistication is all about restraint. If you pile on a pearl necklace, pearl earrings and a diamond bracelet, all the different pieces of jewelry will just end up competing with each other and people won't know where to look. You can't stress all your assets at once! It will just make you seem vain and indecisive. In my opinion, go with either the diamond jewelry or the pearl jewelry. If you decide on the pearl earrings and necklace, you don't even need a bracelet at all. Or pair the diamond bracelet with a diamond ring or diamond chandelier earrings and no necklace. Ever notice that you don't ever see diamonds and pearls set in the same jewelry? It's because they clash!

Pearl jewelry coupled with diamond jewelry achieves a classy, elegant look. Traditionally, brides would wear pearl earrings or pearl necklaces paired with diamond necklaces, pendants or rings on their wedding day. Since both pearls and diamonds are relatively colorless, these two precious gemstones rarely clash. Thus, diamond and pearl jewelry is not only worn together, but diamond and pearls are often incorporated into the same piece of jewelry. It is not uncommon to find pearl and diamond bracelets, necklaces, earrings, rings and pendants.
