Big diamond earrings are certainly NOT too-much! In fact, they can be the perfect accessory to a simple black dress. Big diamond earrings are also very in right now - take  Heidi Klum's 2009 Oscar earrings for example. Heidi's earrings were large and luminescent. She is certainly a fashionista, so if you see her sporting large diamond earrings, then you know they are definitely in good taste. Diamonds aren't flashy by definition. Diamond stones usually aren't super-huge - The bigger diamonds are rarer and more expensive - so I think they're considered more sophisticated and elegant than gaudy and flashy. So large diamond earrings are DEFINITELY okay. Make a statement girl! Go for glam!
