I have a rough diamond but I don't know if it's fashionable or not.

I'm not sure if I should hold on to my rough diamond or sell it since I don't know if it's trendy now or not. What do you think?

I love the look of rough diamond jewelry! Think it's very fashionable. Rough diamond jewelry allows you to wear diamonds without them looking too glitzy or gaudy. Also, I think that rough diamonds look very natural and that they have an antique, or vintage, feel to them that polished diamonds lack. I think that if you're going for an earthier, modest look then rough diamond jewelry is the perfect choice for you!

I don't know. I'm not into the rough look. I think that clean diamonds are much more classy looking and impressive. Why would you want to wear something that looks old or unclean? Are you trying to make a fashion statement? If so, I think it's a bad idea. You probably won't start a trend and could probably make more use of a higher-priced diamond.

Yeah, I agree with the last user. I don't know how fashionable a rough diamond is. I haven't seen it worn around hollywood. Most celebrities wear large traditional diamonds, so I'm skeptical about the idea of setting a trend. You can try wearing it around town and see what kind of feedback you get. Maybe people will ask you where you bought it. Just play it by ear and make your decision accordingly.

I'm not sure if it's fashionable, but rough diamonds seems unique to me. I don't know many people who own rough diamonds, but I think you should wear your diamond proudly. No two diamonds are exactly the same, so your diamond doesn't have to look like the traditional cuts (i.e., princess). I agree with the user above that you can start a trend of your own!

I think that you shouldn't be too worried with what's fashionable right now and what isn't. If you like the way rough diamond jewelry looks then you should definitely go for it! And , if later you decide that you prefer polished diamonds then you can always take your jewelry in and have the rough diamonds polished down.

Fashionable? Maybe. Classical? Not so much. Rough diamond jewelry has become very popular ever since the green, eco-friendly trend hit big but I don't think they're very classical. If I were to buy diamond jewelry I would definitely go for jewelry set with polished diamonds rather than rough diamonds. Sure, they're in now, but in a couple of years no one's gonna want them and then you'll be stuck with jewelry that looks like it's been mounted with plain old stones. If you're already shelling out the dough, go for something that'll last you a long time and that'll be in vogue for a very long time.

Rough diamonds are very fashionable. Since diamonds come in all shapes and sizes, a rough diamond is just as special as the rest. In fact, rough diamonds are making their way back to the fashion world and so I definitely don't think you should be thinking about selling it. Also, since a diamond's worth will not decrease, you can be sure that your investment is well worth it. I personally think that rough diamonds are even nicer than clean-cut diamonds since they give a more vintage look, which is very hollywood. It kind of reminds me of faded jeans. The more worn the look, the more hip. Although traditionally, diamonds are thought to be "perfectly cut or shaped", think outside the box and feel proud of your imperfect gem, and who knows maybe you can start your own trend!
