Should I buy a rough diamond necklace or bracelet for my daughter?

My daughter's birthday is coming up and I was thinking of buying her a rough diamond piece of jewelry, but I can't decide between a bracelet and a necklace. What do you think?

What kind of jewelry does your daughter like? If she likes wearing necklaces then get her that. If not, then consider a bracelet or maybe earrings. I think a nice pair of earrings would be a great gift (assuming her ears are pierced). Although some girls like charm bracelets, so that could be a great gift option as well.

Just in response to the last user, I'm not sure you can generalize that girls prefer bracelets. You should definitely just ask your daughter and see what she thinks.

Why don't you just ask your daughter what kind of jewelry she prefers. I'm sure she's the best source of reference. You don't have to tell her it's for a birthday present. You can just ask her generally speaking what her preference is.

I think you should buy her a bracelet. Girls tend to like bracelets that they can actually look at while they are in school and show off to their friends. Necklaces are a little different because you can only appreciate them when you look in a mirror. I don't know, that's just my opinion!
