What's the history of synthetic diamonds?

adding on to that.. the first geniune synthesis happened around the 19050s. the procederes that were discussed indeed were the way of production and more so, a 3rd means that was called detonation synthesiscame into be across the diamond industry late in the 20th century. what happens is that diamond grains the size of a nanometer are made by detonating explosives made out of carbon. an additional process via the treatment of graphite along with hi powerultrasound was used across labs - but diamonds made like that haven't yet been accessible in the market.

synthetic diamonds go back to the late part of the 1800s and early parts of the 1900s... there were documented incidents of creating synthetic diamonds. however, from what i read those instances weren't actually ever confirmed. later in the century, research across america and in various parts of europs (scandanavia and even the USSR) to produce diamonds with thses processes.
