What should I know about keeping my synthetic diamond jewelry clean? Any tips?

A synthetic diamond is a diamond. It's physical properties are no different than those of a diamond, so cleaning a synthetic diamond is no different from cleaning a naturally occurring diamond. There's nothing special you need to know about cleaning synthetic diamonds. Just clean them like you would clean any other diamond jewelry.
To clean any diamond jewelry including synthetic, follow the following steps:
soak the piece of jewelry in a solution of water and a mild detergent. Then rub any dirt off with a soft brush. You don't want to use any hard brushes. Even though they can't scratch the diamond, diamonds being the strongest natural material there is, they might scratch any metal that may be surrounding the stone. So use a soft brush and brush very gently.
Then rinse the piece thoroughly with warm water and then pat it dry with a cloth. Make sure the cloth doesn't have any lint in it.
