I ordered a diamond engagement ring for my gal in an online jewelry shop. The whole process of ordering was smooth, but now I'm just being devoured with anxiety over whether the diamond engagement ring will make it to my door or not! I don't know if buying jewelry online is worth all the stress!! If it gets lost I'm totally doomed...

First of all, before placing any order online, you must thoroughly read the conditions and terms offered by the online jewelry company in case complications may arise. You must be careful and read even the small print that usually goes unnoticed by most viewers. If the engagement ring you are interested in is especially pricey, more than $4000 US dollars in value then I strongly recommend purchasing it through a company that provides insured carriers, such as UPS or FedEx. Make sure that you have written proof that the shipment is insured for the full value of its content, and that the company will be willing to replace or refund the item you have purchased in case they were lose or damage your package during shipment. If you're dealing with a reputable jewelry company, you could be relieved knowing that they are well aware of shipment complications that may arise (especially when it's overseas) and they are completely professional in dealing with these situations.
