What is the ideal table and depth percentage for a cushion and emerald diamond?

For a cushion cut diamond, the ideal table is between 53 and 60% and the depth should be between 60 and 70% percent. Anything more or less will reduce the amount of light your diamond will reflect and could also affect the fluorescence and fire.

For an emerald diamond, you want between 59 and 70% for the table and depth between 60 and 69% with the sides being around 35%.

One thing you should keep in mind is that the depth and table are dependent on the skill of the cutter but also the level of clarity and the number of inclusions. You should also keep in mind that there are different grading scales. It's most recommended to trust the grading of the GIA.
