Is it ok to give a diamond enhancer as an anniversary gift?

Diamond ring enhancers are really nice options, but you have to be careful. They don't just add more diamonds, they also add a specific style and personality to a relatively simple ring- specifically a solitaire diamond engagement ring. First of all, every diamond enhancer is built to enhance a certain cut of diamond. Make sure you remember if she has a round brilliant diamond cut, or something more unique. If your wife has a relatively simple diamond engagement ring, and you really feel like you know her taste and style, then in might be a perfect gift.If you feel like she really wants that specific ring to be enhanced by some kind of add on, then you can go for it. Otherwise, I might recommend going with her to get this present. Or at least consulting with her. Now, sometimes you can find enhancers that look more like simple like eternity bands. These, in my opinion, are the best gift options without having to consult the wifey. She can place the diamond enhancer band with her engagement ring, and you won't have to worry about it being to her taste, to her liking. However, take a GOOD look at her ring and remember 1)the diamond cut 2)the base metal 3)the style of the original ring.

I think that a diamond ring enhancer is a wonderful gift for an anniversary, whether it be a big anniversary like a 20th, 30th or 40th, or whether it be your 15th anniversary or something less special. It renews an already significant gift, and even makes it more beautiful. It takes a simple solitaire engagement ring, and reminds her how much you loved her and still love her, and how you want her to remember that. I think it's definitely ok to give a diamond ring enhancer as an anniversary gift.

I would recommend buying your wife a simple diamond eternity ring rather than a diamond ring enhancer as an anniversary gift. Diamond ring enhancers are nice, but they are usually jewelry gifts people either buy for themselves, or specifically ask their loved ones for. They can really change the look of a diamond ring, and so if for some reason you feel like it really is time to give her old diamond wedding ring or diamond ring (Must be a simple solitaire diamond ring!!!) a makeover, then ok....but for an anniversary? I guess, just make sure that she wants something like that, and that it fits the original design of the ring.
