I was looking for jewelry, and the thing is, my wife is really trendy. I almost always mess up the gifts I give her. Is a double heart diamond ring a good idea?

I don't know about anniversaries, but I know that lots of stars are wearing heart shaped diamond rings these days. If you are worried about trendy, they are definitely trendy. Classy, I'm not sure. But trendy, yes. In fact, zac effron recently bought his girlfriend, venessa hudgens a heart-shaped diamond promise ring and everyone has gone mad over it. In my opinion the coolest celebrity heart-shaped rings are paved with pink diamonds or pink crystals, and set in yellow gold. The classiest, though are white gold or platinum with white diamonds and a simple, more geometric design.

A double heart diamond ring is a beautifully symbolic design that is perfect for an anniversary. The question is- does your wife like hearts? If she doesn't like hearts or anything "girly" then it might not be a good idea. There are fashionistas like this that have specific shapes or styles that they simply refuse to wear, designating them "gaudy" or "tacky" and hearts do fall into this category at times.
However, if you know that she doesn't mind hearts, then a double-heart diamond ring is a wonderful style for an anniversary ring. Many styles of two-heart diamond ring shave the rings interlocked or interwoven, and symbolizing your ever intertwined lives and your dependence on one another. He is your air, she is your oxygen. There are also double-heart diamond rings that simply feature two heart-shaped diamonds, which are of course more expensive, but very beautiful.
If you are specifically looking for trendy double diamond heart rings, I would recommend going for something simple, something classic in design, white gold, yellow gold or platinum gold banded. You might also want to think about getting her a colored diamond. If you pave set the hearts, then it might be nice to have colored diamond paved within the hearts.

I think that double heart diamond rings are not in the slightest bit trendy, and in fact in my opinion they're a pretty tacky piece of jewelry! Seriously, I think that only little girls should be permitted to wear heart decorated jewelry and I wish that this fad will be over and done with already. If you want to splurge out and get your wife something beautiful and expensive, and you are so concerned about it being trendy I would suggest buying her a classy diamond ring with timeless design. If I were you, I would buy her a beautiful diamond studded eternity ring, which is an excellent anniversary gift as it symbolizes your eternal love for her. I have the feeling that your wife would enjoy this type of diamond jewelry ring much better than a tacky double heart ring.
