I want to get my husband a diamond anniversary ring for our 25th anniversary. I thought it would be nice to get the ring engraved. I just don't know what to engrave it with! Help!

I was thinking to engrave the diamond ring with our wedding date, but that's kinda boring, no?

I think it's a nice idea to engrave his diamond anniversary ring with your wedding date. If there is enough room, you might want to add the date that you met one another. Then you can write it like this: met and fell in love: xx/xx/xxxx; tied the knot: xx/xx/xxx. You might even want to add a third date, for your anniversary like: tied in love for 25 yrs: xx/xx/xxx. This is sweet, cute and this way your husband will never have an excuse to forget your anniversary! He'll have it written on his hand! :)

I say, don't stress about it. He'll love whatever you decide to engrave the diamond anniversary ring with. Wedding dates, the date that you met, Forever, I love you, 25 years of love and affection....whatever. He'll absolutely love it. I promise. So don't stress. Pick something and just go with it.

I think it's kinda blaaahh to engrave your wedding date. Why don't you write him something intimate? Is there a song that you both love? Is there something that you always do together? Is there a specific thing about him that makes you fall head over heels in love with him again and again every time he does it? These are the things that are the most beautiful part of love. Ok, let me give you an example. "My favorite place is in your arms" or "When you smile, I see no one else but you" or "Everything you do makes me love and admire you" or even "I got you, babe". You could also do something cute like " Randy (heart) Julian Forever".  This is a bit kitsch, but its kitsch with real sentiment behind it.  Kitsch with real sentiment behind it is ok, because it really means what it says.  And it's cute- it's almost childish, which can even be refreshing.  It is light, rather than heavy.
