can inscription be removed from silver pitcher?

Hi John,

From what I know it really depends on two main things :
- how deep the inscription is
- how thin the silver is

Sometimes removing an inscription can considerabely weaken your object, to the point where it would damage itr more than anything else.

Only a professional silversmith will be able to tell you whether it is advised to do so or not. Please also keep in mind that a beautiful inscription can add value to the pitcher!
