With such a high demand in silver throughout history and up until today, I wonder: have we already exploited all silver resources on earth?

As of now, we still have considerable silver deposits available for extraction throughout the world. However, just as you have noted, mankind has been using up silver for such a long time(for a duration of 6000 years to be more precise) that it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that we will eventually ran out of silver deposits. Hypothetically speaking, if you were to press together all the silver ever mined throughout the world, including all the silver which is currently in circulation, it would actually be the size of a massive cube measuring at a volume of 55 square meters. Although the remaining silver inventories are considered scant when compared to gold, they are still larger when compared to other precious metals such as platinum and palladium, so it is a relative thing. There is a certain disagreement when it comes to concluding exactly how much silver is left for us to excavate. Some say we have 9 more years left until we have fully exploited our silver resources. Others argue that CPM figures indicate that the end of the road is much nearer and closer to 3 years. There are also those who believe that we will enjoy many more years of silver mining, seeing as we keep discovering new silver deposits, such as the one recently discovered in Russia. I guess only time will tell exactly how much longer we can continue to extract silver from its natural occurring environment.
