Is there such thing as a tension-set three stone diamond ring?

I really like the symbolic significance of three-stone diamond rings, but I simply adore the look of the tension setting. Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a three-stone diamond tension-set ring?

I haven't actually seen real three-stone tension set diamond rings. This setting is pretty precarious and not so safe.It exposes the diamond to the elements from nearly every angle and this puts the stone at risk of damage if one is not careful. Even one diamond in a tension setting can be delicate. Three is a bit careless, unless very masterfully and skillfully done. However, I there are a number of rings out there that look like tension set rings which include three stones, but set their diamonds using a type of channel setting. This kind of setting holds the diamonds from beneath, rather than exposing them like a regular tension setting. I've also seen a number of three-stone diamond rings that appear to be tension settings, but have prongs holding the three-diamonds in place. This is another good way to get around the problem of such a delicate and expert setting. I'm sure, however, that there are REAL tension set three stone diamond rings out there. When it comes to jewelry, you can also always have your own special ring custom designed. This gives you the ability to pick out the diamonds on your own and then bring them to a jeweler who will create the setting.
