Is there a diamond-studded G-string on the market?

In April, 2008, a diamond-encrusted G-string was shown at the Singapore lingerie fashion show. The piece was worn by Romanian model, Danielle Luminita, who appeared on the runway in the thong only, sitting on the shoulders of two burly male models. The G-string was said to cost approximately $134,000 and is said to have been the highlight of the show. Triumph International is the lingerie company that commissioned the G-string, and announced that the piece would be for display only, adding that it would be dry-cleaned after the fashion show before being set in their shop window. The Triumph Luxurious Diamond Thong was adorned with a total of 518 brilliant-cut diamonds, to bring the piece to a grand sum of 30 carats. The diamonds were studded into a floral pattern on the front and a snowflake-like design on the back of a black-lace G-string. The thong also featured 27 white gold tassels that hung off of it. The blonde model who paraded it around the runway remarked that the thong was surprisingly comfortable and unexpectedly light. I imagine she wouldn't be saying that had she been wearing it under real clothing. In any event, it's not like you can buy it anyway. The skimpy thong isn't for sale. So, if you were thinking of withdrawing those thousands of dollars from the bank to surprise your boyfriend on your anniversary, you'll just have to spend your money elsewhere!
