Hi, I have a vintage Chanel silver bracelet stamped with two interlacing circles followed by a diamond shape and the .925 stamp. Does anyone know what the symbols mean? The bracelet belonged to a friend of mine who was very wealthy so I don't know if this

The bracelet is silver with a magnetic clasp. On the side of the spring that holds together the 2 pieces of the bracelet the words MECAN are stamped.

The 925 means your bracelet is made from sterling silver, which is 92.5% pure silver and small percentages of other metals that give it strength and resistance to damage. Those metals are usually nickel, platinum or copper in some circumstances.

The interlacing circles is the official Chanel trademark. All jewelry manufacturers have a symbol of some kind that can be found on every piece they produce. On a ring and bracelet, it's usually on the interior. On other pieces, it is usually in a location where it is not noticeable.

The diamond shape is also likely a trademark symbol of some kind that could indicate something such as adhering to the Kimberly Process or just be the symbol of a second manufacturer.

The word "MECAN" seems to indicate that the piece was a collector item that came from the Greek collector house and jeweler Lalounis. However, it could also be the place the jewelry was produced.
