The famous couple held a private ceremony with only 30 close friends and family members at Jay Z's lush TriBeCa apartment in New York. Amongst the honored guests were Beyonce's former band mates - Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams and Jay Z's closest friends – Kanye West and Pharrell Williams. The date of their marriage (04.04) represented an important date for the couple, as they were both born on the 4th (Beyonce on the 4th of September and Jay-Z on the 4th of December). It is rumored that they both have matching "IV" tattoos on their ring fingers. Since their wedding in April, Beyonce has been keeping her engagement ring under wraps and it was only two months after the wedding took place that the paparazzi finally got a glimpse of her sought after engagement ring. Beyonce's engagement ring features an exceptionally large 18.0 carat diamond which is an elongated emerald cut and flawless in quality. The diamond is mounted onto a clean split shank platinum setting. The diamond engagement ring was especially designed for Beyonce by Lorraine Schwartz, a noted jeweler to the stars. According to Schwartz, this masterpiece is valued to be worth even more than $5 million dollars!
