Do celebrities wear rough diamonds?

True as true can be! The red carpet at the Oscars has been sparkling with both rough and colorful diamonds, as it has been for some time. In 2008 Nicole Kidman wore a beautiful necklace that was created with more than 7,600 diamonds, both rough and cut; as well in 2010 Kathy Bates wore both a necklace and earrings set with rough diamonds. This year, it was Maria Menounos who wore beautiful rough cut diamond earrings. Next year, who knows!?

Yep, I know that rough diamonds have grown in popularity and are reporting an increase in sales and income, so the rumor is probably true.

I'm not sure. I heard rumors like that, but I was under the impression that celebs like J-Lo sport the classic, polished diamonds, which have a more "bling-bling" appearance. I think it's cool, though, that celebs may be tredding away from the generic diamond look.

Absolutely! Have you been looking at celeb or fashion magazines lately? Rough diamonds are all over. You can spot them easily since they are so colorful and uniquely shaped.

I don't think so. Whenever you see a celeb sporting a diamond, it's never colorful. So I highly doubt those rumors are true. But I'm not totally sure. I think it's worth checking out more closely.

Yes. It's true. Kate Hudson has been sporting rough diamonds lately. They are very fashionable and they make a different kind of statement than polished diamonds, since they are generally colorful and have a vintage kind of look.
