I was so shocked when I read that the prince would not be wearing a band, it seems for such a traditional family, a traditional ring would be right up their alley (and I say their because I know most times decisions aren’t individual ones), do you think it was his choice? Maybe he really pushed not to wear it? But I wonder why?

It is unclear as to why Prince William has chosen not to wear a wedding ring, although the palace spokesperson has said that it is due to the couple’s personal wishes. There have been rumors that his father does not wear a ring, however, these were dispelled and is not the reason for Prince Williams choice. Prince William has refused to comment on his personal decision. Kate Middelton, however, will still wear the traditional engagement ring and wedding ring combination.
