I'm getting married soon and I decided that I don't want my fiancee to be the only one in the house wearing an engagement ring. I would like having a nice ring, with a tasteful setting, that would still posses a manly appearance. Any ideas?

If you want to wear something more interesting than a simple engagement band, there are plenty of good choices for you around. You could elaborate the design by choosing a nice diamond or other gemstone, or through the choice of metals. A two-toned engagement ring, in which several metals are used (yellow gold, white gold, bronze, etc) could suit your needs, without the presence of a big unpractical stone. You can also consider ordering a textured men's engagement ring, which includes interesting engraving.

A friend of mine has a gorgeous mokume gane engagement ring. This engagement ring comprises several metal alloys resulting in a very impressive and eye catching pattern. Titanium rings can also make a good choice for men's engagement rings. This metal is rather sparkling and can consist of shades of different colors.
