A Lady without left hand can she wear her weeding ring on the right hand finger?

A lady in my office is about getting married but has no left hand. She asked me if she could wear her wedding ring on her right hand.

Absolutely right....I grew up in Germany, the largest and most modern country in Europe....it is costume there, that an engagement ring is worn on your left hand, while your wedding ring is on your right hand. But I must agree, it is only important how serious the marriage is, not on which finger der ring sits.

Of course she can! Wearing the wedding band on the left ring finger dates back to ancient times when it was thought that the “love vein” ran directly from that finger to the heart. In reality, it’s what the wedding band represents that’s important, not the finger it sits on.

I don't think that there are any rules. I have seen many people wear them on both hands. The best thing would be to get a matching wedding set, which would mean getting a matching wedding band to the engagement ring, which would be worn on the same finger.
