What are Half Round and Pipe wedding rings?

I'm currently searching online for a man's wedding band and I've come across some unknown terminology. Can someone explain what "pipe" and "half round" stand for in reference to wedding rings?

A pipe design is appropriate for wide wedding bands. It's a man's wedding ring with flat surfaces and straight edges. A half round ring on the other hand has a curved exterior, and is often used in traditional men's wedding rings.

A Half-Round wedding ring is one of the more classic and traditional styles of wedding rings. The term refers to the slightly rounded exterior of the wedding band. A half-round wedding ring can also be set with a daimond. These diamond rings are typically more feminine in design, however, you could potentially find something similar for men.

A pipe design wedding ring is not rounded around the outside. It is like someone took a long thin rectangle of metal, wrapped it around your finger, and welded it into a wedding ring.
