What looks cooler on a man: One or two earrings?

I want to get myself a pair of men's earrings. Frankly, I'm still trying to choose between stud earrings and regular ones and also to decide whether I go for a pair of earrings or for an earring for only one ear. Any good advice out there?

One is nicer. Whether it's an ear stud, a metal earring or even a gemstone earring, one earring looks much more manly, or at least less feminine.

In my opinion, wearing one stud earring looks classier than two. Two may be overkill. If you are a modest kind of guy, then I would go with one earrings in one earlobe (either the left or the right). If you are a little more flashy, and like your bling, then wearing two earrings in both earlobes or in just one is the look for you.

Is no earrings an option? I don't think earring add to men's appeal at all, and I just can't get used to the idea. It makes them look vain and girly. If you really want some jewelry, how about a watch?

Two diamond stud earrings are hot! Look at 50 cent, or Puff Daddy. They're rocking the bling in both ears! No seriously, an answer to your question would depend on your personal style. Do you like the flashy, flamboyant look? Or, are you a low-key kinda guy? If you want to go with a simple, more demure look then stick with one earrings, but if you're looking to add a little flare to your appearance I say why not go for two earrings.

One earring is rather 1980's isn't it? If you don't want to adopt a punk, alternative, pissed off look then I suggest you buy a pair for both ears. Nice round stud earrings can look nice on men, can add some elegance to your appearance, just be sure they they match the clothes you are wearing.

Have you considered wearing two diamond stud earrings, but in the same earlobe? I don't think I've ever seen a guy rock that look. That could look cool, and unique.

If you really aren't sure, you can always get both earrings pierced, and then if you decide that you want only one as opposed to two, just take one out and let the hole close up. It might be a bit more of a painful way to go about it, but it'll give you the experience of both. Otherwise, you can do the opposite- get one piercing and add another if you want later on.
