I'm writing a piece about yellow diamonds. Have there been any important yellow diamond auctions that I should include in my piece?

There the Donnersmarck diamonds also fetched really nice prices at a Sotheby's auction. The Donnersmarck diamonds are two fancy yellow diamonds that took thier name from their previous owner - Henckel von Donnersmarc, who lived in the nineteenth century. They were estimated at 1.5-2 million dollars but were sold to a collector for a lot more. The first one weighing 102.54 carats was sold for $3.246 million and the second, which weighed 82.48 carats was sold for $4.666 million !
Definitely talk about these in your work! Good luck!

Well, the largest fancy yellow diamond was auctioned at an Indian online auction. It had the "Forevermark" inscribed in it, and it was 42.02 carats. It's oval and stunning. According to the GIA the "Forevermark" yellow diamond has a clarity rate of VS1. It is estimated at around 700,000 dollars. You should definitely include that in your paper.
