I like diamonds and crystal and I'm trying to decide...

Well, first of all, congratulations on your engagement! That's a big deal... makes me excited just thinking about it! As for the question, well I can tell you what I think! Some people really love diamond (or they really love crystal) and that makes them have a serious opinion one way or the other... but I think if you like each one, you can have a much freer time with crystal than with diamond because even though some crystal is pretty pricey, it's generally never as pricey as diamond, and really nice crystal is a lot cheaper than really nice diamond. You can get crystals set in your wedding dress, or just as earrings or all your jewelry or hairpieces. Or if you just want a touch of sparkle in your whole wedding party, you could get little crystal hairpieces for all your wedding party, or special crystal bracelets for all of your bridesmaids. There's just so much more freedom with crystal jewelry than there is with diamond jewelry...and anyway, I guess you have the prettiest diamond anyway...on that lucky finger! All the best on your marriage, and I hope the future is warm and bright for you! Good luck!

First of all, crystal jewelry is definitely more affordable than diamond jewelry. Weddings can be pricey affairs, which is why crystal jewelry is a great alternative to diamond jewelry. Choosing crystal jewelry over diamond jewelry can help stretch your budget. Generally speaking, crystals can look very similar to diamonds, no one will be able to tell the difference between beautifully made crystal jewelry and genuine diamond jewelry. Not to mention that crystals are incredibly sparkly, they look amazing and they'd be a great addition to your bridal attire. Also, crystal jewelry can be made to look traditional. If you're looking for traditional, customary bridal jewelry, then crystal jewelry is a great option. Crystals comes in a myriad of colors, shapes and sizes. As such, crystal jewelry can be very diverse and incredibly versatile while still being relatively affordable (colorful diamond jewelry is harder to find and is generally pricier than colorless diamond jewelry since fancy colored diamonds are so rare). So, if you're looking for jewelry that's a little more unique, that'll really stand out, that'll add a definite flare to your bridal apparel, then crystal jewelry is the way to go!
