My wedding is coming up and I want to know whether diamond hair pins are an acceptable piece of bridal jewelry?

Sure they are! I myself wore a beautiful, vintage diamond and pearl hair pin on my wedding day. A diamond hair pin is a great alternative to a traditional veil. I decided I'd rather wear a hair pin because I just thought that a veil would be cumbersome. I mean, they can get to be so heavy and I hated the idea of constantly having to push it out of my eyes so that I could properly greet my guests before the ceremony. Just make sure to get a pin that matches the additional pieces of jewelry you are planning on wearing on your wedding day and that the hairstyle you choose will look cool with a hair pin in it. For example, if you were thinking of leaving your hair down, a hair pin might look a little out of place. I recommend consulting your hair dresser before you decide on a hair pin. Have him come up with suggestions for hairdos that would look great with a hair pin.

Diamond hair pins are beautiful, no matter what the occasion! For a wedding, I'd say that diamond hair pins are definitely appropriate and very fashionable. Whether you're planning on wearing your hair up or down, diamond hair pins will provide that touch of elegance that's just right – not too much, not too little, just a little sparkle in your hair. Diamond hair pins can accent your look, or they can take attention from your face, depending on the size of the design and the rest of your bridal jewelry. A diamond hair pin can look like a diamond flower in your hair, or they can be used throughout your entire hairstyle. In the end, it's all up to you and what you think would look best on you on your special day. In general, I wouldn't suggest getting hair pins with diamond designs that are too big unless you're not planning on wearing much other bridal jewelry. Also, if all the rest of your bridal jewelry is made of pearls, it would be best for your hair accessories to be made of pearls as well. In addition, if you're into vintage jewelry and you'd like to add a bit of a vintage look to your bridal ensemble, you might want to consider using an antique diamond brooch as a diamond hair pin. You can put your hair up with an elastic band (make sure it's in the color of your hair) and pin the vintage diamond brooch right on top of the elastic band. Another option would be to use a wire to attach the diamond brooch to a barrette. If you find diamond hair pins to be too expensive, you might want to consider cubic zirconia hair pins, which offer a similar appearance for a much lower price.
