What kind of pearl jewelry is most suitable for a bride?

It seems that a bride can't look sharp without some pearls on her, but I would appreciate if someone could give some tips, explaining what is the best kind of pearl jewelry for a bride in terms of style and accessory type.

In my opinion, you can't go wrong with a matching pearl earring and necklace Set. since pearls are the ultimate jewelry in terms of their symbolism on your wedding day you would be safe no matter which pearl jewelry you wore. Did you know that the reason that so many brides wear pearls on their wedding day is an old custom to symbolize purity and virginity when brides were expected to be virgin brides. Nowadays women wear them not necessarily because they are declaring their virginity, rather to symbolize this custom.

If you ask me, a bride should always wear large shiny pearls. All though there's not a huge variation within pearls (as long as they are of good quality), it is still important to pay attention to style and find pearl jewelry which matches the bride's personality, as well as the wedding theme. Besides selecting pearls of maximum shine and beauty, a bride should carefully look for pearls that seem most attractive to her in terms of size, overtone and color. On her big day there's no place for compromises! If we are talking about a pearl necklace, it's important to choose the length of necklace according to the neckline of the wedding dress. For dresses of the highest neckline, a 16 inch tight pearl necklace is most suitable, a moderate-neckline-dress would require a 18 inch necklace, while a 20-22 inch necklace is best for a wedding dress with a low neckline. Some brides enjoy the flexibility of a 32 inch pearl necklace, allowing them to wear it as a very loose single strand necklace of a double strand choker necklace. In recent years many fashionable brides like to wear an earring set and a pearl pendant, both comprised of White South Sea Pearls.

Clearly, the size and body shape of the bride is not less important than the neckline of the wedding dress when choosing the most appropriate pearl necklace and pearl earrings. Short thin women should obviously choose a complementing small necklace and an earring set in about 7mm. A "medium" size lady could go for 8mm earrings and a medium size pearl necklace. This tip is useful but I must say that failing to choose the size that matches one's figure doesn't mean that her entire appearance would be a failure - The size variation isn't that enourmous and pearls add so much to a bride, that even if the size isn't perfect, the bride would most likely still make a very impressive appearance.
