
Katy Perry and Russell Brand returned from their private wedding in Jaipur, India on a tiger reservesporting matching yellow micro-pave
diamond rings set in yellow gold bands. The two diamond encrusted eternity rings are estimated to be worth $50,000-$75,000 each.
The matching yellow diamond rings made their first public appearance on the red carpet at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Madrid on Sunday, November 7th. They showed off their diamond-studded wedding bands as they posed for pictures and smiled pretty.
The two stars are known for their eye-catching fashion style and Perry is especially famous for her “sparkly” taste.
At the awards Russell was more toned down in his look, wearing a black jacquard suit and black silk Dolce & Gabana neck scarf. However, he left his white button down shirt nearly entirely unbuttoned, flashing two long gold necklaces.
Katy wore a short zig-zag hemmed red sequin dress and accessorized with a yellow gold and micro pave diamond graduated beaded bracelet. To keep the look perfectly sparkly, she added a pair of Baccarat “Rock” stud earrings in ruby and paired the short dress with matching blue heels by Sergio Rossi.
During the awards Perry performed her new single “Firework” wearing a red and silver sequined catsuit and headband, looking as diamond-sparkly as ever, and was awarded “Best Video” for her hit, “California Gurls”. Perry continued changing costumes later in the evening, donning a feather-edged sparkly sequin minidress and adding purple hair extensions in her ponytail. She definitely has a flair for diamond-sparkles and the flamboyant.
After the awards, the young couple went on a double-date with Rihanna and Matt Kemp, according to the Daily mail. Rihanna threw Perry a bachelorette party in September were sadly unable to attend Perry and Brand’s wedding in India due to professional obligations.
